IF YOUR DENTURES BREAK
Occasionally dentures can break or fracture. If the denture breaks into pieces or a tooth comes off this is what you should do.
1) Keep all the pieces in a bag.
2) Do not try to glue them as the glue can damage the acrylic and make it impossible to repair
3) Most repairs are done on the day, many are done while you wait but it may take between 2-4 hours for a repair.
4) Prices vary due to the severity of the fracture, but a general guide to price is between £75-£100 during normal working hours, additional charges apply for weekends and bank holidays.
Brush you dentures daily with a soft brush and using a little liquid soap.

If you still use tablet type cleaners which are small bleaching blocks then you must use them according to manufacturers intructions. These can cause damage cleaners can damage your denture acrylic and the teeth. We suggest you never leave them in the cleaning solution overnight, twenty minutes every other day is more than sufficient to keep your dentures fresh and clean. However It is important to thoroughly rinse your dentures under a running tap before placing them in your mouth.
Please note that many repairs occur when people drop the plate during cleaning, we suggest that you half fill the sink with water to cushion the denture should it fallor clean them over a soft towel.
